Hello, Pennies for a Cause has completed their program. If you would like to donate to cancer, you should donate to cancer foundations like Norris Cancer Research Foundation. Whenever you donate money, you are helping cure cancer and saving lives. Just think about how one penny can make a huge difference. Thank you.

A Short But Happy Ending

Seeing as how nobody from PFC goes to this blog much, I took it upon myself to do the ending. Parker, Michael, and Nina are three people I want to point out. They were the ones who really helped me to make this program grow. Since day one, when everyone else thought it was a joke, they kept hopeful, and they were clearly right. Parker donated countless coins, as well as Nina and Michael. Michael spread the word, and helped put up flyers around the school. He was one of the first people I went to for advice. Nina donated may coins, made the flyer, but was also there for assistance whenever we needed it. These were not the only people that were huge helps to Pennies For a Cause! There was also Simone, DD, Alanis, Harrison, and Zoie. They were people who were either constant donors, or people who spread the word. Thank you so much family and friends! Money Update

Pennies For a Cause has reached a milestone! We do not have an exact calculation of the money we have raised but my mom took me to Coin Star to trade in the coins and the total estimate was about $150.00!!!!! Yeah Cowan! Thank you so much for everyone's help and support. We are so close to our goal!

Dear Reader,

Last week, Hildred Brown asked permission to Remy Smith's mom to interview Remy about Pennies For A Cause. Remy was interviewed on October 16, 2010. Ms. Brown typed an article about Pennies For A Cause, which will be featured in the Cowan Crier, our school's paper. We would like to thank Ms. Brown for all of her kindness and effort in helping Pennies For A Cause, we will not forget. We also have roughly $150.00 or more. Thanks family and friends!

Money Update

A few days ago, I realized I had not posted a money update in a while and some people might be waiting for one. We have not counted our money since the last update, but we will soon find out on Monday. My mom will be taking me to the bank to trade in our pennies for cash. Hello this is Parker. Right now we are desperate. We need help coming up with ideas on how to raise money for cancer. We've already put posters up around Cowan and started this blog.
