Money Update
Hello. Today many people wanted to donate money. When I got home from school I counted it and we have $46.21! Wow we are raising much more than we expected which was only on dollar a week. I guess sometimes you believe you won't do as well but then it ends up your peers understand you and they are willing to help achive your goal Thank you room 19, Mrs. Gaines- Jones, Ms. Rodriguez, and many others. We would never have been able to get here if it weren't for you. You all rock!

Carmy Peters
The past days have been wonderful for Pennies For A Cause. In this time we have managed to raise money reaching nearly a goal of 47 dollars, and we have also become very lucky to be working with Carmy Peters. Carmy is a lady who is also raising money for cancer and seems to be thrilled to get our donations. Ms. Peters had offered for us to donate the Breast Cancer, Childhood Leukemia, or Lipoma if I am not mistaken. (I am not sure if Lipoma was an option). I have talked amongst my friends about these choices and we think we are ready to do childhood cancer.
We are mainly doing this because we want to give children a chance. We want children like me to be able to live a long and happy life. Parker made a good point today when we were talking. "Imagine if you had cancer and you couldn't do things that others could do and someone was willing to donate to you. You would be thrilled, right?"
We would like to thank Ms. Peters for all that she has done. We are looking forward to meeting her!

Please Give!
Hi this is Remy. (Maureen's Daughter just in case Carmy sees this). Please watch this video to the very end.
Money Update #2
Parker and I went back to school to find that nearly our whole class wanted to donate. They where waving money in our face as we tried to direct them to the jar we set out in our class. Things have been going great, donations wise! We are now at $23.31. We have taken a leap, seeing as how we raised nearly $14.72 in two days.
My mom will be emailing a lady who works at a particular research foundation. She is also trying to raise money for cancer, but she has millions of donations. Maybe she'll help us!

The Inspiration For This Blog
This blog was created because, I, Remy, was tired. I was tired of hearing about my friend's loved one's that have died or are suffering from cancer. A year ago, my father's Uncle died of Lung Cancer. My grandpa died of Leukemia when I was two years old. Sister Peg, a lady like family died of Colon Cancer almost 4 and a half months ago. Little Taylor Love, a girl I have not met but I know of, Is struggling with Neuroblastoma. I cannot survive another loss. Please... someone help cancer. Start your own program to raise money for these people. We are serious. Don't leave this blog thinking "They're just a group of silly kids." because we are not, certainly not. We have our teachers, principals, family members, and closest friends by our sides and we will not give up until there is a cure for cancer.
CANCER IS HORRIBLE
Cancer is a GHASTLY thing and I hope you under stand that. If you don't watch this video.
Update
This is an update on how much money we have raised. Our goal is to make at least $100 before donating. We hope we can achieve it by December. Right now we only have $8.59 so we still have a ways to go. Thank you everyone who has gotten us to the point of these eight dollars. We were not expecting to have this money this fast. It's only been a week and we were only expecting five cents!
Cancer

Introduction
This should explain what we're doing as Remy and Parker talk about the needs for donating. (Sorry about the camera's shakiness.)
